        | Call for papers: Immigration in OECD Countries - 12th Annual International Conference
 
 
 The CEPII, LISER and the OECD as well as their partners from the International Migration Economics Chair at Paris School of Economics, the Fondazione Rodolfo De Benedetti, University of Lille (LEM) and University of Luxembourg are jointly organizing the 12th Annual Conference on "Immigration in OECD Countries" on December 12-13, 2022. The conference will examine the economic aspects of international migration in OECD countries by mapping the migratory flows and analyzing their socio-economic determinants and consequences. Topics of interest include, among others, the determinants of immigration to the OECD, migrants' self-selection, the political economy of immigration, its labor market and public finance effects, as well as migrants and refugees social, political and economic integration.  Please submit your paper before 25 September 2022.  >>>

                | Antoine  Bouët has been appointed Director of the CEPII 
 
  We sincerely welcome Antoine Bouët  who will take office on 1st October 2022. He is on leave from the University of Bordeaux where he is Professor of economics. Previously, he joined the International Food Policy Research Institute (Washington DC) in February 2005 as a senior researcher to conduct research on global trade modeling, trade policies, regional agreements, multilateral trade negotiations and informal cross-border trade in Africa. He was previously a scientific advisor at CEPII, where he participated in the development of the MIRAGE model of the world economy and the MAcMAP-HS6  database on market access. He has also conducted research on improving trade and trade policy data, the modeling of support for the biofuels industry, the economics of trade retaliation, and the world trading system.>>>

  International Economics  is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the publication of research in the area of applied international economics . The journal especially welcomes empirical contributions that include, but are not limited to, topics in international trade, commercial policy, open economy macroeconomics, international finance, exchange rates, financial and monetary policies, economic development, migration and factor movements. 
The December 2022 issue is in progress but contains articles that are final and fully citable.>>>
