Thierry Mayer holds a PhD and is a full Professor at the University of Paris-sud, where he teaches European economic, international economic and new economic geography. He is a Scientific Advisor to the CEPII, a research associate with Paris-Jourdan Sciences Economiques (PSE) and a Research Affiliate with the CEPR.

As part of his research into new theories of international trade, the location of multinational firms, the new economic geography and border effects, Thierry Mayer is participating in the following research projects :
